तत्त्वतः सर्वमेतन्नः प्रबूहि त्वं महाकपे ।
श्रुतार्थाश्चिन्तयिष्यामो भूयः कार्यविनिश्चयम् ।

Tattvataḥ sarvametannaḥ brūhi tvaṃ mahākape । Śrutārthāścintayiṣyāmo bhūyaḥ kāryaviniścayam । । ॥5-58-4॥
Translation
"O Great Monkey, tell us all this in truth (detail). Having heard the facts, we shall then determine our future course of action."
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे महाकपि! आप हमें यह सब सच-सच (विस्तार से) बताइए। यथार्थ बात सुनकर ही हम भविष्य के कर्तव्य का निर्णय करेंगे।
English Commentary
Jambavan insists on a factual report (Tattvataḥ), devoid of exaggeration. This verse underscores the link between intelligence gathering and strategy. He states clearly that the "determination of duty" (Karya-vinischayam)—whether to attack immediately, return to Rama, or wait—depends entirely on the accuracy of the information Hanuman provides. It shows the prudence of the Vanara leadership.

जाम्बवान यहाँ 'तत्त्वतः' (यथार्थ/factually) बात बताने पर जोर देते हैं। भावनाओं या अतिशयोक्ति से परे, उन्हें ठोस जानकारी चाहिए। श्लोक का उत्तरार्ध प्रबंधन (Management) का एक उत्कृष्ट सूत्र है—निर्णय (Decision making) हमेशा सही सूचना (Data) पर आधारित होना चाहिए। वे कहते हैं कि पहले हम सुनेंगे ('श्रुतार्थाः'), फिर विचार करेंगे ('चिन्तयिष्यामः') और तब कर्तव्य निश्चित करेंगे।
