Sā visṛṣṭa-bhujā bhīmā papāta lavaṇāmbhasi . Mayā parvata-saṅkāśā nikṛtta-hṛdayā satī .. 5.58.43 .. ॥5-58-43॥
Translation
Having had her heart torn out by me, that terrible demoness, resembling a mountain, fell into the salt ocean with her arms outspread.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मेरे द्वारा हृदय विदीर्ण कर दिए जाने पर, वह पर्वत के समान विशाल और भयानक राक्षसी अपनी भुजाएं फैलाकर खारे समुद्र में गिर पड़ी।
English Commentary
This verse vividly describes the aftermath of the strike. Simhika, compared to a mountain (parvata-saṅkāśā) due to her size, falls dead into the salty waters. The image of her falling with "arms outspread" (visṛṣṭa-bhujā) suggests a total loss of control, a stark contrast to her earlier aggressive posturing. The phrase nikṛtta-hṛdayā (heart torn/cut out) confirms the fatality of Hanuman's maneuver. The demoness returns to the element she came from, but now as a corpse. It symbolizes the clearing of the path; the heavy obstacle that dragged the hero down has been removed and cast back into the abyss, allowing the mission to proceed.

सिंहिका का अंत। जो राक्षसी अभी तक हनुमान जी को खाने के लिए मुँह फैला रही थी, अब वह स्वयं प्राणहीन होकर गिर पड़ी। 'पर्वतसङ्काशा' बताता है कि वह कितनी विशाल थी—एक पहाड़ की तरह। उसका समुद्र में गिरना ('पपात') बुराई के पतन का प्रतीक है। 'विसृष्टभुजा' (फैली हुई भुजाएं) उसकी असहाय स्थिति को दर्शाती हैं। हनुमान जी ने बिना किसी विशेष शस्त्र के, केवल अपनी बुद्धि और बाहुबल से उसे परास्त किया। यह दृश्य अत्यंत प्रभावशाली है—आकाश में विजयी हनुमान और नीचे समुद्र में गिरता हुआ पाप का विशाल शरीर। यह श्लोक पुष्टि करता है कि अधर्म का आकार चाहे कितना भी बड़ा क्यों न हो, उसका पतन निश्चित है।
