प्रत्यक्षमेव भवतां महेन्द्राग्रात् खमाप्लुतः ।
उदधेर्दक्षिणं पारं कांक्षमाणः समाहितः ।

Pratyakṣameva bhavatāṃ mahendrāgrāt khamāplutaḥ । Udadherdakṣiṇaṃ pāraṃ kāṅkṣamāṇaḥ samāhitaḥ । । ॥5-58-7॥
Translation
(Hanuman said): "Right before your eyes, I leapt into the sky from the summit of Mount Mahendra, with a concentrated mind, intent on reaching the southern shore of the ocean."
हिंदी अनुवाद
(हनुमान जी बोले) आप लोगों के देखते-देखते ही मैं समुद्र के दक्षिणी तट पर पहुँचने की इच्छा से एकाग्रचित्त होकर महेंद्र पर्वत के शिखर से आकाश में कूदा था।
English Commentary
Hanuman begins his debriefing by grounding the story in shared reality. He reminds them that they witnessed his takeoff. He uses the word Samahitah (steadfast/concentrated/collected mind), indicating that his leap was an act of intense mental focus and discipline, not just brute strength. He clarifies his primary objective from the start: to reach the southern shore.

हनुमान जी अपनी यात्रा का वर्णन बिल्कुल आरम्भ से शुरू करते हैं। वे 'प्रत्यक्षमेव भवतां' (आपकी आँखों के सामने) कहकर अपनी कहानी को श्रोताओं की स्मृति से जोड़ते हैं। 'समाहितः' शब्द महत्वपूर्ण है, जिसका अर्थ है 'एकाग्रचित्त' या 'योगयुक्त'। यह बताता है कि लंका गमन केवल शारीरिक बल का प्रदर्शन नहीं था, बल्कि मानसिक एकाग्रता और योगबल का प्रयोग भी था।
