जनकस्यात्मजा साध्वी स्नुषा दशरथस्य च ।
स्वप्नो ह्यद्य मया दृष्टो दारुणो रोमहर्षणः ।

Janakasyātmajā sādhvī snuṣā daśarathasya ca । Svapno hyadya mayā dṛṣṭo dāruṇo romaharṣaṇaḥ । । ॥5-58-85॥
Translation
"She is the daughter of Janaka and the virtuous daughter-in-law of Dasharatha. Indeed, today I have seen a terrible, hair-raising dream."

"यह जनक की पुत्री और दशरथ की पुत्रवधू साध्वी है। आज मैंने एक भयानक और रोंगटे खड़े कर देने वाला (रोमहर्षण) स्वप्न देखा है।"
English Commentary
Trijata validates Sita’s sanctity by invoking her lineage—Janaka and Dasharatha—implying that such a woman is divinely protected. She introduces her prophetic dream, describing it as romaharshanah (hair-raising). This sets the stage for the famous "Trijata Swapna" (Trijata's Dream), a pivotal plot device that foreshadows the fall of Lanka and boosts Sita's morale when she is on the brink of despair.
