प्रणिपातप्रसन्ना हि मैथिली जनकात्मजा ।

Praṇipātaprasannā hi maithilī janakātmajā । । ॥5-58-89॥
Translation
"For Maithili, the daughter of Janaka, is pleased merely by bowing down (submission)."

"(क्योंकि) जनकनन्दिनी मैथिली प्रणाम करने मात्र से प्रसन्न हो जाती हैं।"
English Commentary
This brief line captures the essence of Sita's grace. Trijata asserts that Sita is Pranipata-prasanna—easily pleased by simple surrender or prostration. It emphasizes her forgiving nature. Despite the torture she endured, she holds no malice and will forgive her tormentors if they simply ask. This portrays Sita not just as a victim, but as a superior moral force capable of granting absolution.

यहाँ सीता के करुणामयी स्वभाव का वर्णन है। त्रिजटा कहती है कि सीता को प्रसन्न करने के लिए किसी बड़े उपहार की आवश्यकता नहीं है, केवल 'प्रणिपात' (झुकना/समर्पण) ही पर्याप्त है। यह देवी सीता के 'क्षमशील' गुण को उजागर करता है। भले ही राक्षसियों ने उन्हें कितना भी सताया हो, यदि वे माफी मांग लें, तो सीता उन्हें क्षमा कर देंगी। यह मातृत्व और दैवीय करुणा का प्रतीक है।
