सम्भाषणाथ च मया जानक्याश्चिन्तितो विधिः ।
इक्ष्वाकूणां हि वशस्तु ततो मम पुरस्कृतः ।
।
॥५-५८-९२॥
Sambhāṣaṇātha ca mayā jānakyāścintito vidhiḥ । Ikṣvākūṇāṃ hi vaśastu tato mama puraskṛtaḥ । । ॥5-58-92॥
Translation
For the purpose of conversing with Janaki, I thought of a method. I then put forward the lineage of the Ikshvakus (started praising them).
हिंदी अनुवाद
जानकी (सीता) के साथ संभाषण (बातचीत) करने के लिए मैंने एक विधि (उपाय) सोची। तब मैंने इक्ष्वाकु वंश (के कीर्तन) को अपने आगे रखा (अर्थात उनकी प्रशंसा गाना शुरू किया)।
English Commentary
Hanuman devises a strategy to approach Sita without startling her. He realizes that a strange monkey appearing suddenly would be terrifying. Therefore, he decides to use the Ikshvaku Vamsa (lineage of Rama) as an introduction. By chanting the glories of Rama's ancestors and Rama himself, he creates a familiar and comforting auditory bridge before revealing his physical form. This shows his tact and deep understanding of Sita's emotional state.

हनुमान जी ने सीता का विश्वास जीतने के लिए बुद्धि का प्रयोग किया। यदि वे वानर रूप में अचानक सामने आते, तो सीता डर जातीं या उन्हें मायावी समझतीं। इसलिए, उन्होंने 'इक्ष्वाकु वंश' की स्तुति को माध्यम बनाया। रामकथा ही वह एकमात्र कुंजी थी जो सीता के हृदय के द्वार खोल सकती थी। 'पुरस्कृतः' का अर्थ है किसी चीज को आगे रखना या प्राथमिकता देना। यह हनुमान की कूटनीतिक और मनोवैज्ञानिक समझ का परिचायक है।
