श्रुत्वा तु गदितां वाचं राजर्षिगणपूजिताम् ।
प्रत्यभाषत मां देवी बाष्पैः पिहितलोचना ।

Śrutvā tu gaditāṃ vācaṃ rājarṣigaṇapūjitām । Pratyabhāṣata māṃ devī bāṣpaiḥ pihitalocanā । । ॥5-58-93॥
Translation
Hearing that speech worshipped (filled with praise) of the Royal Sages, the Goddess (Sita), her eyes covered with tears, replied to me.
हिंदी अनुवाद
राजर्षियों (के गुणगान) से पूजित उस वाणी को सुनकर, आंसुओं से ढके हुए नेत्रों वाली देवी (सीता) ने मुझे उत्तर दिया।
English Commentary
Hearing the praise of her husband's lineage (the Royal Sages of the Ikshvaku dynasty) acted as a soothing balm for Sita. In a land filled with hostility, these familiar and reverent words bridged the gap between the stranger (Hanuman) and the captive queen. Her eyes filled with tears—not of despair, but of emotional overwhelm—upon hearing the glorification of Rama, which validated Hanuman's potential legitimacy as a messenger.

जब हनुमान जी ने इक्ष्वाकु वंश और राम के गुणों का वर्णन किया, तो वह वाणी सीता के लिए अमृत समान थी। 'राजर्षिगणपूजिताम्' का अर्थ है ऐसी बातें जो राजर्षियों के योग्य हैं या जिनमें उनका सम्मान है। लंका के शत्रुतापूर्ण वातावरण में अपने स्वजनों की कीर्ति सुनकर सीता जी भावविभोर हो गईं। उनकी आँखों में आए आंसू दुख के नहीं, बल्कि एक परिचित और प्रिय ध्वनि सुनने के सुकून के हैं। यह विश्वास की नींव थी।
