Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
तदिच्छामि त्वया ऽ ऽज्ञप्तं देवि किं करवाण्यहम् ।
रामलक्ष्मणयोः पार्श्वं नयामि त्वां किमुत्तरम् ।
।
॥५-५८-९८॥
Tadicchāmi tvayā ' 'jñaptaṃ devi kiṃ karavāṇyaham । Rāmalakṣmaṇayoḥ pārśvaṃ nayāmi tvāṃ kimuttaram । । ॥5-58-98॥
Translation
"Therefore, O Devi, I wish to be commanded by you as to what I should do. Shall I take you to the side of Rama and Lakshmana? What is your answer?"
हिंदी अनुवाद
"इसलिए हे देवि! मैं चाहता हूँ कि आप मुझे आज्ञा दें, मैं क्या करूँ? क्या मैं आपको (अभी) राम और लक्ष्मण के पास ले चलूँ? आपका क्या उत्तर (विचार) है?"
English Commentary
Overcome with the desire to end Sita's suffering immediately, Hanuman proposes a rescue mission right then and there. He asks for her command (Ajnaptam). The phrase Nayami tvaam (Shall I lead/carry you) indicates his readiness to transport her across the ocean to Rama and Lakshmana instantly. This shows his immense strength and devotion, but he respectfully leaves the final decision to her.

सीता का विश्वास जीतने के बाद, हनुमान जी अपनी सेवा प्रस्तुत करते हैं। वे सीता के कष्ट को एक क्षण भी और नहीं देखना चाहते, इसलिए वे प्रस्ताव रखते हैं कि वे सीता को अपनी पीठ पर बैठाकर तुरंतराम के पास ले जा सकते हैं। यह हनुमान के आत्मविश्वास और शक्ति का परिचायक है। वे आदेश ('आज्ञप्तं') मांगते हैं, जबरदस्ती नहीं करते, जो उनकी विनयशीलता दिखाता है।
