सदेवासुरयक्षेषु गन्धर्वोरगपक्षिषु ।

sadevāsurayakṣeṣu gandharvoragapakṣiṣu |
maindasya pratiyoddhāraṃ śaṃsata dvividasya vā ॥5-59-16॥
Translation
Name any warrior among the Gods, Asuras, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Uragas (serpents), or birds who can oppose Mainda or Dvivida.

देवताओं, असुरों, यक्षों, गन्धर्वों, नागों और पक्षियों सहित समस्त प्राणियों में (कोई ऐसा वीर) बताइए जो मैन्द अथवा द्विविद का मुकाबला कर सके।
English Commentary
The spotlight shifts to the brothers Mainda and Dvivida. Hanuman issues a rhetorical challenge: look across all planes of existence—celestial, demonic, or terrestrial—and find a match for these two. By listing superior beings like Devas and Gandharvas, he implies that mere Rakshasas (demons) are beneath the notice of Mainda and Dvivida. This elevates the status of the Vanara army from a terrestrial militia to a cosmic force capable of challenging any being in the universe.

मैन्द और द्विविद अश्विनीकुमारों के पुत्र हैं और वानर सेना के विशिष्ट योद्धा हैं। हनुमान जी यहाँ एक खुली चुनौती (Rhetorical Challenge) रखते हैं। वे तीनों लोकों की समस्त जातियों (देव, असुर, यक्ष आदि) को गिनवाते हैं और पूछते हैं कि क्या इनमें कोई भी ऐसा है जो इन दो भाइयों के सामने टिक सके? उत्तर मौन रूप से 'न' है। यह प्रश्न शैली श्रोताओं (वानरों) में गर्व की भावना जगाती है कि उनके बीच ऐसे अजेय योद्धा उपस्थित हैं।
