अश्विनोर्माननार्थं हि सर्वलोकपितामहः ।
सर्वावध्यत्वमतुलमनयोर्दत्तवान् पुरा ।

aśvinormānanārthaṃ hi sarvalokapitāmahaḥ |
sarvavadhyatvamatulamanayordattavān purā ॥5-59-19॥
Translation
In the past, the Grandfather of all worlds (Brahma), to honor the Ashvins, gave these two the incomparable boon of unslayability by anyone.

पूर्वकाल में, सर्वलोक पितामह ब्रह्मा जी ने अश्विनीकुमारों का मान रखने के लिए इन दोनों को 'किसी के द्वारा भी न मारे जाने' (सर्वावध्यत्व) का अतुलनीय वरदान दिया था।
English Commentary
Hanuman details the legalities of the cosmic boon. Brahma granted them sarva-avadhyatvam (immunity from being killed by all) to please their fathers. This is crucial strategic intelligence. While Ravana thinks he is immortal, his immunity has loopholes (humans/animals). Mainda and Dvivida, however, have a blanket immunity granted by the Creator himself. Hanuman highlights this to show that the Vanaras are not just cannon fodder; they possess "super-units" that are divinely protected, arguably more so than the demon king himself.

यहाँ वरदान का स्पष्टीकरण है। ब्रह्मा जी ने मैन्द और द्विविद को यह वरदान उनके पिताओं (अश्विनीकुमारों) के सम्मान में दिया था। 'सर्वावध्यत्वम्' (सर्व+अवध्यत्व) का अर्थ है किसी भी प्राणी द्वारा न मारे जाना। यह ठीक वैसा ही वरदान है जैसा रावण ने मांगा था (यद्यपि रावण ने मनुष्यों/वानरों को छोड़ दिया था)। यहाँ विडंबना यह है कि रावण के पास वानरों से न मरने का वरदान नहीं है, जबकि वानरों (मैन्द-द्विविद) के पास किसी से भी न मरने का वरदान है। अतः तकनीकी रूप से वानर पक्ष अधिक सुरक्षित है।
