सफलो राघवोद्योगः सुग्रीवस्य च संभ्रमः ।
शीलमासाद्य सीताया मम च प्रवणं मनः ।

saphalo rāghavodyogaḥ sugrīvasya ca saṃbhramaḥ |
śīlamāsādya sītāyā mama ca pravaṇaṃ manaḥ ॥5-59-2॥
Translation
Rama's effort and Sugriva's zeal have become fruitful, having encountered the virtue of Sita and my own devoted mind.

सीता के शील (पातिव्रत्य) और मेरे विनीत (भक्तिपूर्ण) मन का आश्रय पाकर ही रघुनाथ जी का उद्योग और सुग्रीव का उत्साह सफल हुआ है।
English Commentary
Hanuman identifies the metaphysical anchors of the mission's success. While armies and strategies (Rama's effort, Sugriva's zeal) are necessary, the core foundation is Sita's Shila (chastity/character). Without her survival and moral integrity, the rescue mission would be moot. He pairs this with his own pravanam manah (intent/devoted mind). It highlights a Dharmic principle: external endeavors yield results only when supported by internal purity and unwavering devotion. He acknowledges that the physical victory was grounded in these spiritual realities.

हनुमान जी यहाँ सफलता के सूक्ष्म आध्यात्मिक कारणों का विश्लेषण कर रहे हैं। वे कहते हैं कि राम और सुग्रीव का प्रयास तभी फलित हुआ क्योंकि सीता अपने 'शील' पर अडिग हैं। यदि सीता अपने प्राण त्याग देतीं या रावण के वश में हो जातीं, तो सारा सैन्य प्रयास व्यर्थ हो जाता। साथ ही, वे 'मम च प्रवणं मनः' कहकर अपनी एकाग्र भक्ति को भी इसका श्रेय देते हैं। यह अहंकार नहीं, बल्कि 'आत्म-निवेदन' है—सीता की पवित्रता और हनुमान की भक्ति के संयोग ने ही इस असंभव कार्य को संभव बनाया है।
