Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
राघवे चार्थनिर्वृत्तिं कर्तुं च परमं यशः ।
समाधाय समृद्धार्थाः कर्मसिद्धिभिरुन्नताः ।
।

rāghave cārthanirvṛttiṃ kartuṃ ca paramaṃ yaśaḥ । samādhāya samṛddhārthāḥ karmasiddhibhirunnatāḥ । । ॥5-61-5॥
Translation
Having resolved to fulfill Raghava’s purpose and to achieve supreme glory, those Vanaras, successful in their objective, held their heads high due to the accomplishment of their mission.

श्रीराम के प्रयोजन को सिद्ध करने का और परम यश प्राप्त करने का निश्चय करके, वे वानर कृतार्थ (सफल) होकर अपनी कार्य-सिद्धि के कारण गर्व से उन्नत (ऊंचे) हो रहे थे।
English Commentary
The psychology of the soldiers shifts from fear of failure to the pride of success. Samiddharthah implies they are now "rich" in purpose having achieved their goal. They are described as Unnatah (elevated/proud) because of Karmasiddhi (success in action). Their focus is twofold: completing the practical task for Rama (Arthanirvrittim) and earning the resultant glory (Yashas). It marks the restoration of their warrior dignity which had been threatened by the prolonged, fruitless search.

यहाँ वानरों की मानसिक स्थिति का वर्णन है। "समृद्धार्थाः" का अर्थ है जिनका प्रयोजन पूरा हो गया हो। अब वे खाली हाथ नहीं हैं, उनके पास "सीता की खोज" रूपी सफलता है। वे "उन्नताः" हैं, अर्थात उनका सिर गर्व से ऊंचा है। पहले वे सुग्रीव के दंड और राम के दुख के भय से दबे हुए थे, किन्तु अब वे राम के कार्य (अर्थनिवृत्तिं) को पूरा करने के संतोष और उससे मिलने वाले यश के भाव से भरे हुए हैं। यह श्लोक भय से आत्मविश्वास की ओर संक्रमण को दिखाता है।
