Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
प्रियाख्यानोन्मुखाः सर्वे सर्वे युद्धाभिनन्दिनः ।
सर्वे रामप्रतीकारे निश्चितार्था मनस्विनः ।

priyākhyānonmukhāḥ sarve sarve yuddhābhinandinaḥ । sarve rāmapratīkāre niścitārthā manasvinaḥ । । ॥5-61-6॥
Translation
All were eager to tell the pleasant news, all were welcoming of war, and all those high-minded ones were resolved to exact retribution for Rama's sake.

वे सभी (राम को) प्रिय समाचार सुनाने के लिए उत्सुक हैं, सभी युद्ध का अभिनंदन (स्वागत) करने वाले हैं, और वे सभी मनस्वी वानर राम के लिए (रावण से) बदला लेने के लिए कृतसंकल्प हैं।
English Commentary
This verse perfectly encapsulates the transition from "Search and Rescue" to "War." The Vanaras are driven by three distinct motivations: the joy of delivering good news (Priya-akhyana), the lust for battle (Yuddha-abhinandina), and the moral resolve to avenge the wrong done to Rama (Rama-pratikare). Described as Manasvinah (high-minded or spirited), their morale is at its peak. They are no longer avoiding conflict; they are actively seeking it to punish the enemy.

वानरों के मन में तीन भाव एक साथ उमड़ रहे हैं: १) हर्ष: वे शुभ समाचार देना चाहते हैं (प्रियाख्यान)। २) शौर्य: वे युद्ध के लिए तैयार हैं (युद्धाभिनन्दिनः), वे अब युद्ध से डर नहीं रहे बल्कि उसका स्वागत कर रहे हैं। ३) निष्ठा: वे रावण के पाप का प्रतिकार (badla) करने के लिए दृढ़ हैं। यह श्लोक सुंदरकाण्ड की समाप्ति और युद्धकाण्ड की भूमिका तैयार करता है। अब वानर केवल खोजकर्ता (scouts) नहीं, बल्कि योद्धा (warriors) बन चुके हैं।
