तानुवाच हरिश्रिष्ठो हनुमान् वानरर्षभः ।
अव्यग्रमनसो यूयं मधु सेवत वानराः ।
अहमावारयिष्यामि युष्माकं परिपन्थिनः ।

॥५-६२-१॥
tānuvāca hariśreṣṭho hanumān vānararṣabhaḥ । avyagramanaso yūyaṃ madhu sevata vānarāḥ । ahamāvārayiṣyāmi yuṣmākaṃ paripanthinaḥ । । ॥5-62-1॥
Translation
Then, Hanuman, the best of monkeys, said to them: "O Vanaras, drink the honey with unagitated minds (freely). I will hold off those who oppose you."
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब वानर श्रेष्ठ हनुमान ने उनसे कहा— "हे वानरों! तुम लोग निश्चिंत होकर (बिना किसी व्याकुलता के) मधु का सेवन करो। मैं तुम्हारे विरोधियों (रक्षकों) को रोकूंगा।"
English Commentary
Hanuman intervenes, but surprisingly, he sides with the revelers. He grants them immunity. By promising to hold off the Paripanthina (opposers/guards), he validates their celebration as a well-earned reward. This shows Hanuman's empathy; he understands the troops need this release after their arduous mission. He acts as the buffer between the law (Dadhimukha) and the chaotic energy of victory.

हनुमान जी यहाँ एक रक्षक और नेता की भूमिका में आते हैं, लेकिन अपने साथियों के पक्ष में। वे जानते हैं कि यह उत्सव उनकी मेहनत का फल है। वे कहते हैं, "अव्यग्रमनसो" (मन में कोई डर मत रखो)। हनुमान जिम्मेदारी लेते हैं कि यदि कोई रक्षक (परिपन्थिनः) आएगा, तो वे उससे निपट लेंगे। यह कथन वानरों को निडर होकर जश्न मनाने का 'लाइसेंस' देता है। हनुमान स्वयं नहीं पी रहे, पर दूसरों की खुशी की रक्षा कर रहे हैं।
