इहागच्छत गच्छामो वानरान् बलदर्पितान् ।
बलेन वारयिष्यामो मधु भक्षयतो वयम् ।
।

Ihāgacchata gacchāmo vānarān baladarpitān । Balena vārayiṣyāmo madhu bhakṣayato vayam । । ॥5-62-19॥
Translation
"Come here, let us go. We will forcefully restrain those monkeys, arrogant with their strength, from consuming the honey."

"यहाँ आओ, हम चलते हैं। हम उन बल के अहंकार में चूर वानरों को बलपूर्वक मधु पीने से रोकेंगे।"
English Commentary
Dadhimukha rallies his troops for a counter-attack. He labels the intruders as baladarpitān (arrogant due to their strength). Despite the earlier report that Hanuman is backing them, Dadhimukha decides to use force (balena) to stop the consumption of honey. This decision highlights a clash between strict administrative duty and the exceptional circumstances of the moment. Dadhimukha intends to restore order through physical intervention, underestimating the collective euphoria and power of the southern search party.

क्रोधित दधिमुख अपने सैनिकों को ललकारता है। "बलदर्पितान्" शब्द महत्वपूर्ण है, जिसका अर्थ है 'बल के गर्व में चूर'। दधिमुख को लगता है कि ये वानर अनुशासनहीन हो गए हैं और उन्हें रोकना आवश्यक है। यद्यपि सामने हनुमान और अंगद जैसे योद्धा हैं, फिर भी दधिमुख अपने कर्तव्य पालन के लिए बल प्रयोग (बलेन वारयिष्यामो) का निर्णय लेता है। यह उसकी कर्तव्यनिष्ठा को दर्शाता है, भले ही उसे यह अनुमान न हो कि सीता की खोज की खुशी में वानर किस स्तर के उन्माद में हैं।
