अथ दृष्ट्वा दधिमुखं क्रुद्धं वानरपुङ्गवाः ।
अभ्यधावन्त वेगेन हनुमत्प्रमुखास्तदा ।
।
॥५-६२-२५॥
Atha dṛṣṭvā dadhimukhaṃ kruddhaṃ vānarapuṅgavāḥ । Abhyadhāvanta vegena hanumatpramukhāstadā । । ॥5-62-25॥
Translation
Then, seeing the angry Dadhimukha, the foremost among monkeys led by Hanuman rushed towards him with great speed.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब क्रुद्ध दधिमुख को देखकर, हनुमान आदि प्रमुख वानर वीर उस समय वेगपूर्वक उसकी ओर दौड़े।
English Commentary
The leaders of the search party, specifically those led by Hanuman (hanumatpramukhāḥ), react to Dadhimukha's aggression. Seeing him angry, they do not back down but charge at him. This marks the engagement of the heavyweights. Until now, the guards were fighting general troops; now they face the elite warriors who have just returned from Lanka. It signifies that the search party is in no mood to be disciplined, backed by their monumental achievement.

जब हनुमान और अन्य प्रमुख वानरों ने देखा कि दधिमुख क्रोधित होकर आक्रमण कर रहा है, तो उन्होंने भी प्रतिउत्तर दिया। यहाँ "हनुमत्प्रमुखाः" (हनुमान आदि प्रमुख) शब्द महत्वपूर्ण है। यद्यपि हनुमान शांत स्वभाव के हैं, परंतु अपने साथियों की रक्षा और विजय के उत्साह में वे भी पीछे नहीं हटे। यह आक्रमण आत्मरक्षा और अपनी शक्ति के प्रदर्शन के लिए था। दधिमुख का क्रोध अब अंगद दल के क्रोध और उत्साह से टकराने वाला था।
