Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
स वानरानिमान् सर्वान् मधुलुब्धान् गतायुषः ।
घातयिष्यति दण्डेन सुग्रीवः ससुहृज्जनान् ।
।
॥५-६२-३४॥
Sa vānarānimān sarvān madhulubdhān gatāyuṣaḥ । Ghātayiṣyati daṇḍena sugrīvaḥ sasuhṛjjanān । । ॥5-62-34॥
Translation
"Sugriva will have all these honey-greedy monkeys, whose lifespans have run out, killed along with their friends by means of severe punishment."

"सुग्रीव उन सभी मधु के लोभी और जिनकी आयु समाप्त हो चुकी है (गतायुषः), उन वानरों को उनके मित्रों सहित दंड देकर मरवा डालेंगे।"
English Commentary
Dadhimukha continues to dwell on the impending doom of the trespassers. He refers to them as gatāyuṣaḥ (those whose life is over), implying their actions are suicidal. He attributes their crime to greed for honey (madhulubdhān). His prediction encompasses collective punishment—leaders and their friends (sasuhṛjjanān) alike. This verse reinforces the tension between the guards' legalistic view of the situation and the joyous reality of the search party, setting the stage for a dramatic revelation before the King.

दधिमुख के क्रोध में अब भविष्यवाणी का स्वर है। वह वानरों को "गतायुषः" (जिनकी उम्र बीत चुकी है/मरने वाले) कहता है। उसे लगता है कि मधु के लोभ ("मधुलुब्धान्") ने उन्हें मृत्यु के मुख में धकेल दिया है। "ससुहृज्जनान्" (मित्रों सहित) का अर्थ है कि केवल नेता ही नहीं, बल्कि उनका साथ देने वाले सभी वानर मारे जाएंगे। दधिमुख को राजा सुग्रीव की न्याय व्यवस्था पर पूर्ण विश्वास है, जो राजद्रोह के लिए सामूहिक दंड का विधान कर सकती है।
