रामं च लक्ष्मणं चैव दृष्ट्वा सुग्रीवमेव च ।
समप्रतिष्ठां जगतीमाकाशान्निपपात ह ।

Rāmaṃ ca lakṣmaṇaṃ caiva dṛṣṭvā sugrīvameva ca । Samapratiṣṭhāṃ jagatīmākāśānnipapāta ha । । ॥5-62-38॥
Translation
Seeing Rama, Lakshmana, and Sugriva, he descended from the sky onto the level ground.
हिंदी अनुवाद
राम, लक्ष्मण और सुग्रीव को देखकर, वह (दधिमुख) आकाश से समतल पृथ्वी पर उतर आया।
English Commentary
Dadhimukha spots the triumvirate: Rama, Lakshmana, and Sugriva. Upon seeing them, he executes a landing from the sky (ākāśāt) onto the flat earth (jagatīm). The visual of descending from the sky adds drama to his arrival. It signifies the transition from the frantic urgency of travel to the respectful posture required before royalty. The presence of Rama and Lakshmana elevates the stakes of the complaint he is about to lodge.

जैसे ही दधिमुख गंतव्य पर पहुँचता है, उसे वहां का दृश्य दिखाई देता है। राम, लक्ष्मण और सुग्रीव एक साथ हैं। यह एक गंभीर सभा है। "आकाशान्निपपात" (आकाश से गिरा/उतरा) दर्शाता है कि उसने अपनी हवाई यात्रा समाप्त की। उसने "समप्रतिष्ठां जगतीम्" (समतल भूमि) पर लैंडिंग की। शिष्टाचार की मांग थी कि राजा और अतिथियों के सामने भूमि पर खड़े होकर ही बात की जाए। राम और लक्ष्मण की उपस्थिति दधिमुख के लिए आश्वस्त करने वाली भी है और भय उत्पन्न करने वाली भी।
