धर्षितं च वनं कृत्स्नमुपयुक्तं च वानरैः ।
।
॥५-६३-१७॥
Dharṣitaṃ ca vanaṃ kṛtsnamupayuktaṃ ca vānaraiḥ । 。 ॥5-63-17॥
Translation
The entire forest has been assaulted/overpowered, and it has been enjoyed by the Vanaras.

उन्होंने संपूर्ण वन का घर्षण (विनाश) किया है और वानरों ने उसका उपभोग किया है।
English Commentary
Sugriva reinforces the scale of the act. The forest wasn't just sampled; it was 'Dharsitam' (assaulted/violated) and 'Krtsnam' (wholly) consumed. By stressing the magnitude of the 'violation,' Sugriva ironically strengthens his argument for the magnitude of the 'success.' Only a victory of absolute importance could justify such total disregard for the law.

सुग्रीव पुनः इस बात पर जोर देते हैं कि वन का विनाश 'कृत्स्नम्' (पूर्ण रूप से) हुआ है। यह आधी-अधूरी चोरी नहीं है, बल्कि पूर्ण अधिकार जमाना है। 'उपयुक्तं' का अर्थ है उपभोग करना। सुग्रीव लक्ष्मण को आश्वस्त कर रहे हैं कि इस स्तर का आत्मविश्वास बिना किसी ठोस उपलब्धि के संभव नहीं है। वे दधिमुख की शिकायत की पुष्टि करते हुए भी उसका अर्थ सकारात्मक निकाल रहे हैं।
