स तु विश्वासितस्तेन सुग्रीवेण महात्मना ।
उत्थाय सुमहाप्राज्ञो वाक्यं दधिमुखो ऽब्रवीत् ।
।
॥५-६३-३॥
Sa tu viśvāsitastena Sugrīveṇa mahātmanā । Utthāya sumahāprājño vākyaṃ Dadhimukho 'bravīt । । ॥5-63-3॥
Translation
Being thus inspired with confidence by the high-souled Sugriva, the very wise Dadhimukha stood up and spoke these words.

महात्मा सुग्रीव द्वारा इस प्रकार विश्वास दिलाए जाने पर, वह महाबुद्धिमान दधिमुख उठ खड़ा हुआ और यह वचन बोला।
English Commentary
The effectiveness of Sugriva's reassurance is evident as Dadhimukha regains his composure. Described as 'Sumahaprajna' (very wise), Dadhimukha understands that he has secured the King's ear and protection. He transitions from a posture of submission to one of reporting. This verse serves as a bridge between the emotional greeting and the formal complaint that follows, highlighting the restoration of order in the conversation.

सुग्रीव के आश्वासन का तुरंत प्रभाव पड़ता है। दधिमुख को यहाँ 'सुमहाप्राज्ञ' (अत्यंत बुद्धिमान) कहा गया है क्योंकि वे जानते हैं कि कब झुकना है और कब राजा से बात करनी है। वे अपनी घबराहट त्यागकर स्थिति को स्पष्ट करने के लिए तैयार हो जाते हैं। यह श्लोक राजा और मंत्री/सेवक के बीच के विश्वास (Trust) को रेखांकित करता है, जो राज्य के सुचारू संचालन के लिए आवश्यक है।
