एभिः प्रधर्षिताश्चैव वानरा वनरक्षिभिः ।
मधून्यचिन्तयित्वेमान् भक्षयन्ति पिबन्ति च ।

Ebhiḥ pradharṣitāścaiva vānarā vanarakṣibhiḥ । Madhūnyacintayitvemān bhakṣayanti pibanti ca । । ॥5-63-5॥
Translation
"And when challenged/obstructed by these forest guards, the Vanaras attacked them; disregarding them completely, they are eating the honey and drinking."

"जब इन वनरक्षकों ने उन वानरों को रोकने का प्रयास किया, तो उन्होंने इनका तिरस्कार (आक्रमण) किया और इनकी परवाह किए बिना वे शहद खा रहे हैं और पी रहे हैं।"
English Commentary
The complaint escalates from trespassing to physical assault and insubordination. Dadhimukha reports that the intruders are not merely stealing honey but are actively disregarding ('achintayitva') the authority of the appointed guards. This suggests a total breakdown of law and order within the grove. The key point here is the audacity of the monkeys, implying that their morale is unusually high—a subtle hint to Sugriva about the success of their mission.

यहाँ अनुशासनहीनता का वर्णन है। दक्षिण दिशा से लौटे वानर न केवल वन की संपत्ति (शहद) का उपभोग कर रहे हैं, बल्कि कानून लागू करने वाले रक्षकों (Guards) पर हमला भी कर रहे हैं। 'अचिन्तयित्वा' (चिंता न करके/परवाह न करके) शब्द दर्शाता है कि वे वानर इस समय किसी भी अधिकार या डर से मुक्त हैं। यह स्थिति सुग्रीव को यह सोचने पर विवश करती है कि आखिर वानरों में इतना साहस कहाँ से आया।
