प्रहृष्टो मां पितृव्यस्ते सुग्रीवो वानरेश्वरः ।
शीघ्रं प्रेषय सर्वांस्तानिति होवाच पार्थिवः।
॥५-६४-१०॥
Prahṛṣṭo māṃ pitṛvyaste sugrīvo vānaresvaraḥ |
Śīghraṃ preṣaya sarvāṃstāniti hovāca pārthivaḥ ॥5-64-10॥
Translation
Your uncle, the Lord of Vanaras, Sugriva, is very pleased. The King told me, "Send them all to me quickly."
हिंदी अनुवाद
आपके चाचा वानरराज सुग्रीव बहुत प्रसन्न हैं। उस राजा ने मुझसे कहा, "उन सभी को शीघ्र (मेरे पास) भेज दो।"
English Commentary
Sugriva’s command is clear and urgent: "Send them quickly." This urgency stems from his knowledge of Rama’s suffering and anxiety regarding Sita. Sugriva prioritizes the mission over his property damage, showing his loyalty as an ally and his astuteness as a leader. He knows that the time for celebration in the grove is over and the time for reporting the critical intelligence has arrived. This verse marks the transition from the chaotic joy of the Madhuvana episode back to the serious business of the war council.
हिंदी टीका
सुग्रीव की आज्ञा स्पष्ट और तत्काल है। 'शीघ्रं प्रेषय' (जल्दी भेजो) में उत्सुकता छिपी है। सुग्रीव जानते हैं कि राम विरह की अग्नि में जल रहे हैं, इसलिए शुभ समाचार उन तक पहुँचाने में एक क्षण की भी देरी नहीं होनी चाहिए। यहाँ सुग्रीव एक जिम्मेदार मित्र और राजा के रूप में दिखाई देते हैं जो अपनी संपत्ति (मधुवन) के नुकसान की चिंता छोड़कर अपने मित्र (राम) के कार्य को प्राथमिकता दे रहे हैं। यह श्लोक कथा को जश्न से कर्तव्य की ओर वापस मोड़ता है।
