Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
शङ्के श्रुतो ऽयं वृत्तान्तो रामेण हरियूथपाः ।
तत्क्षमं नेह नः स्थातुं कृते कार्ये परन्तपाः।
॥५-६४-१२॥
Śaṅke śruto 'yaṃ vṛttānto rāmeṇa hariyūthapāḥ |
Tatkṣamaṃ neha naḥ sthātuṃ kṛte kārye parantapāḥ ॥5-64-12॥
Translation
O enemy-subduing monkey leaders! I suspect this news has already been heard by Rama. Now that our work is done, it is not proper for us to stay here.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे शत्रुदमनकारी वानर सेनापतियों! मुझे लगता है कि यह वृत्तांत (हमारे आगमन और मधुवन विध्वंस की बात) राम जी ने भी सुन लिया होगा। कार्य पूरा हो जाने पर अब हमारा यहाँ ठहरना उचित नहीं है।
English Commentary
Angada demonstrates high situational awareness and duty. He deduces that if Sugriva knows, Rama likely knows too, and Rama’s anticipation must be agonizing. The phrase kṛte kārye (the work being done) refers to finding Sita, but Angada realizes the mission isn't truly complete until the report is delivered. He urges the troops that loitering in the grove is no longer appropriate. This shows the shift from the relief of success back to the urgency of service. It is a call to mobilize.

अंगद यहाँ कर्तव्यबोध (sense of duty) की बात कर रहे हैं। यद्यपि वे सुग्रीव के आदेश की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे थे, लेकिन उनका ध्यान राम पर है। वे जानते हैं कि सुग्रीव ने राम को भी बता दिया होगा। 'कृते कार्ये' (कार्य पूरा होने पर) वाक्यांश महत्वपूर्ण है—सफलता मिलने के बाद विश्राम करना ठीक है, लेकिन लक्ष्य अभी अंतिम रूप से प्राप्त नहीं हुआ है (सीता की सूचना देना बाकी है)। इसलिए, वे अपनी सेना को अब विलासिता छोड़कर कर्तव्य पथ पर लौटने के लिए प्रेरित कर रहे हैं।
