Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
पीत्वा मधु यथाकामं विश्रान्ता वनचारिणः ।
किं शेषं गमनं तत्र सुग्रीवो यत्र मे गुरुः।
॥५-६४-१३॥
Pītvā madhu yathākāmaṃ viśrāntā vanacāriṇaḥ |
Kiṃ śeṣaṃ gamanaṃ tatra sugrīvo yatra me guruḥ ॥5-64-13॥
Translation
O forest-dwellers! You have drunk honey to your heart's content and have rested. What remains now but to go there where my elder (Sugriva) is?
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे वनचारियों! तुमने इच्छा भर मधु पी लिया है और विश्राम भी कर लिया है। अब मेरेguru (चाचा) सुग्रीव जहाँ हैं, वहाँ जाने के अलावा और क्या काम शेष है?
English Commentary
Angada uses persuasive logic rather than blunt command. By acknowledging that they have had their fill of honey and rest, he validates their celebration. He then poses a rhetorical question: "What is left to do?" The answer is obvious—report to headquarters. By referring to Sugriva as Guru (elder/mentor), he reinforces the hierarchy and the duty they owe to their King. This is excellent team management, gently pivoting the group from relaxation back to deployment without killing morale.
