त्वया ह्यनुक्तैर्हरिभिर्नैव शक्यं पदात्पदम् ।
क्वचिद्गन्तुं हरिश्रेष्ठ ब्रूमः सत्यमिदं तु ते ।

॥५-६४-२०॥
Tvayā hyanuktairharibhirnaiva śakyaṃ padātpadam |
Kvacidgantuṃ hariśreṣṭha brūmaḥ satyamidaṃ tu te ॥5-64-20॥
Translation
O best among monkeys (Angada)! Without your command, we monkeys cannot move even a single step from here. We speak this truth to you.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे वानरश्रेष्ठ (अंगद)! आपकी आज्ञा के बिना हम वानर एक भी कदम आगे नहीं बढ़ा सकते। हम आपसे यह सत्य कह रहे हैं।
English Commentary
This verse serves as a testament to the Vanaras' loyalty and acceptance of Angada's leadership. Despite the presence of powerful elders like Jambavan and Hanuman, Angada is the designated leader (Yuvaraja). After their uninhibited behavior in the Madhuvana, they now return to the discipline of soldiers. It shows that their great success (finding Sita) has not made them arrogant; they refuse to proceed without the direct order of their commander, reinforcing the chain of command.

यह श्लोक युवराज अंगद के प्रति वानरों की निष्ठा और नेतृत्व की स्वीकृति का प्रमाण है। हनुमान जी और अन्य वरिष्ठ वानरों के होते हुए भी, प्रोटोकॉल के अनुसार अंगद ही नेता हैं। मधुवन में उन्मुक्त व्यवहार के बाद, अब वे पुनः अनुशासित सैनिकों की भांति व्यवहार कर रहे हैं। यह दर्शाता है कि सफलता (सीता जी की खोज) ने उन्हें उदंड नहीं बनाया है, बल्कि वे अपने नेता के आदेश के अधीन ही कार्य करना चाहते हैं।
