ते ऽम्बरं सहसोत्पत्य वेगवन्तः प्लवङ्गमाः ।
विनदन्तो महानादं घना वातेरिता यथा ।

Te 'mbaraṃ sahasotpatya vegavantaḥ plavaṅgamāḥ |
Vinadanto mahānādaṃ ghanā vāteritā yathā ॥5-64-23॥
Translation
Having suddenly sprung into the sky, those swift monkeys began making a loud roaring sound, like clouds driven by the wind.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे वेगवान वानर सहसा आकाश में पहुँचकर, वायु से प्रेरित बादलों की भाँति गर्जना करते हुए महानाद करने लगे।
English Commentary
Here, the Vanaras are compared to "wind-driven clouds." Just as clouds roar and move swiftly under the influence of strong winds, the Vanaras roar in the jubilation of their success. This sound is a proclamation of victory. Their mental state is now free from fear, and they are eager to deliver the good news to Rama and Sugriva. This roaring sound serves as a precursor to their arrival for those waiting in Kishkindha.

यहाँ वानरों की तुलना "वायु से प्रेरित बादलों" से की गई है। जिस प्रकार हवा के वेग से बादल गरजते हुए चलते हैं, वैसे ही सफलता के उल्लास में वानर गर्जना कर रहे हैं। यह गर्जना विजय का घोष है। उनकी मानसिक स्थिति अब भयमुक्त है और वे राम और सुग्रीव को शुभ समाचार सुनाने के लिए अत्यंत उत्सुक हैं। यह ध्वनि किष्किन्धा में बैठे लोगों को उनके आगमन का पूर्व संकेत देती है।
