ततः किलकिलाशब्दं शुश्रावासन्नमम्बरे ।
हनुमत्कर्मदृप्तानां नर्दतां काननौकसाम् ।
किष्किन्धामुपयातानां सिद्धिं कथयतामिव ।

Tataḥ kilakilāśabdaṃ śuśrāvāsannamambare |
Hanumatkarmadṛptānāṃ nardatāṃ kānanaukasām |
Kiṣkindhāmupayātānāṃ siddhiṃ kathayatāmiva ॥5-64-33॥
Translation
Then, a 'Kilakila' sound (joyous noise) was heard approaching in the sky. Proud of Hanuman's deed and roaring, those forest-dwellers were coming towards Kishkindha as if proclaiming their success.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तभी आकाश में समीप आता हुआ वानरों का 'किलकिला' शब्द (हर्ष ध्वनि) सुनाई पड़ा। हनुमान के कर्म से गर्वित और गर्जना करते हुए वे वनवासी वानर किष्किन्धा की ओर आ रहे थे, मानो अपनी सफलता की घोषणा कर रहे हों।
English Commentary
'Kilakila' represents the natural joyous vocalization of monkeys. The adjective "Hanumatkarmadriptanam" (proud of Hanuman's deed) is key here. Even though the whole team is returning, their pride is centered on Hanuman's achievement. Their collective roaring serves as an audible 'press release' of their victory. They are broadcasting their success to Rama and Sugriva even before touching the ground.

'किलकिला' शब्द वानरों की स्वाभाविक हर्ष ध्वनि है। यहाँ "हनुमत्कर्मदृप्तानां" (हनुमान के कर्म से गर्वित) विशेषण महत्वपूर्ण है। यद्यपि पूरी टीम आ रही है, लेकिन उनके गर्व का केंद्र हनुमान हैं। उनकी सामूहिक गर्जना ही उनकी सफलता का 'प्रेस विज्ञप्ति' (press release) है। वे नीचे उतरने से पहले ही अपनी जीत का उद्घोष कर रहे हैं ताकि राम और सुग्रीव को संदेश मिल जाए।
