निश्चितार्थस्ततस्तस्मिन् सुग्रीवः पवनात्मजे ।
लक्ष्मणः प्रीतिमान् प्रीतं बहुमानादवैक्षत ।

Niścitārthastatastasmin sugrīvaḥ pavanātmaje |
Lakṣmaṇaḥ prītimān prītaṃ bahumānādavaikṣata ॥5-64-38॥
Translation
Having ascertained the success of the mission from the Son of Wind (Hanuman), Sugriva and the affectionate Lakshmana looked at the pleased Hanuman with great respect.

पवनपुत्र (हनुमान) के वचनों से कार्य की सफलता के प्रति निश्चित होकर सुग्रीव और प्रीति से भरे लक्ष्मण ने प्रसन्नचित्त हनुमान को बड़े आदर से देखा।
English Commentary
Hanuman's words ended all uncertainty. Sugriva feels vindicated in his trust. Lakshmana, who shares Rama's sorrow, is now filled with affection ('Pritiman'). The phrase 'Bahumanad-avaikshata' (looked with great respect) indicates the high esteem in which Lakshmana, a great warrior himself, now holds Hanuman. This look of respect is Hanuman's true reward.

हनुमान के शब्दों ने सारी अनिश्चितता समाप्त कर दी। सुग्रीव को अपनी सेना और अपने निर्णय पर गर्व है। लक्ष्मण, जो राम के दुख से दुखी थे, अब 'प्रीतिमान' (प्रेम से भरे) हो गए हैं। 'बहुमानादवैक्षत' (बड़े आदर से देखा) दर्शाता है कि लक्ष्मण, जो स्वयं एक महान योद्धा हैं, हनुमान की उपलब्धि को कितनी श्रद्धा की दृष्टि से देख रहे हैं। यह दृष्टि ही हनुमान का पुरस्कार है।
