आख्यातं हि मया गत्वा पितृव्यस्य तवानघ ।
इहोपयातं सर्वेषामेतेषां वनचारिणाम्।
॥५-६४-८॥
Ākhyātaṃ hi mayā gatvā pitṛvyasya tavānagha |
Ihopayātaṃ sarveṣāmeteṣāṃ vanacāriṇām ॥5-64-8॥
Translation
O sinless one, I went and reported to your uncle (Sugriva) about the arrival of all these forest-dwellers here.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे निष्पाप अंगद! मैंने वहाँ जाकर आपके चाचा (सुग्रीव) को यहाँ आए हुए इन सभी वनवासियों (वानरों) के बारे में बता दिया है।
English Commentary
Dadhimukha informs Angada that he has followed protocol by reporting the situation to King Sugriva. By telling Sugriva about the presence of the Vanaras in Madhuvana, he has bridged the gap between the search party and the King. The address "Anagha" (sinless one) is significant; it shows Dadhimukha’s renewed respect for Angada, affirming that he holds no grudge despite the physical altercation that occurred earlier. This verse emphasizes the role of transparent communication in resolving conflicts within a hierarchy.
