Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
ततः प्रस्रवणं शैलं ते गत्वा चित्रकाननम् ।
प्रणम्य शिरसा रामं लक्ष्मणं च महाबलम् ।
।
॥५-६५-१॥
Tataḥ prasravaṇaṃ śailaṃ te gatvā citrakānanam |
Praṇamya śirasā rāmaṃ lakṣmaṇaṃ ca mahābalam ॥5-65-1॥
Translation
Then, having gone to the Prasravana mountain which has wonderful forests, they bowed their heads to Rama and the mighty Lakshmana.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर, वे (वानर) विचित्र वनों वाले प्रस्रवण पर्वत पर जाकर, राम और महाबली लक्ष्मण को सिर झुकाकर प्रणाम करने लगे।
English Commentary
In the previous section, they landed 'near' them; now they are formally at Rama's residence on Mount Prasravana. This verse marks the beginning of the formal assembly. The Vanaras have composed their excitement and are now following proper etiquette, bowing to Rama and Lakshmana before commencing the detailed report.

पिछले सर्ग में वे 'समीप' उतरे थे, अब वे विधिवत 'प्रस्रवण पर्वत' पर राम के निवास स्थान पर हैं। यह श्लोक औपचारिक सभा के प्रारंभ का सूचक है। वानरों ने अपनी उत्तेजना को नियंत्रित कर लिया है और अब वे शिष्टाचार का पालन करते हुए, पहले राम और लक्ष्मण को प्रणाम कर रहे हैं ताकि विस्तृत रिपोर्ट दी जा सके।
