नियतः समुदाचारो भक्तिश्चास्यास्तथा त्वयि ।

niyataḥ samudācāro bhaktiścāsyāstathā tvayi ॥5-65-17॥
Translation
Her righteous conduct is steadfast, and her devotion towards you is equally constant.

उनका सदाचार (पातिव्रत्य धर्म) अटल है और आप में उनकी भक्ति वैसी ही (अचल) है।
English Commentary
Though brief, this verse is heavy with import. Hanuman acts as a character witness for Sita. He uses the word niyataḥ (fixed/constant) to describe her samudācāra (proper conduct/etiquette). In the context of captivity, this confirms her absolute chastity and adherence to Dharma despite Ravana's pressure. Furthermore, he assures Rama that her devotion (bhakti) to him remains exactly "as it was" (tathā). Time, distance, and trauma have not eroded her love. Hanuman affirms that the spiritual bond between them is intact, validating that the war to rescue her is morally justified because she remains the pure, devoted wife waiting for her lord.

यह अत्यंत संक्षिप्त किन्तु गंभीर श्लोक है। हनुमान जी श्री राम के मन के किसी भी सूक्ष्म संशय को मिटाने के लिए 'नियत' (निश्चित/अटल) शब्द का प्रयोग करते हैं। 'समुदाचार' का अर्थ है शिष्टाचार, मर्यादा और पातिव्रत्य धर्म। रावण के घर में, प्रलोभनों और भय के बीच भी, सीता ने अपनी मर्यादा की लक्ष्मण रेखा कभी नहीं लांघी। हनुमान जी पुष्टि करते हैं कि उनकी भक्ति 'तथा' (वैसी ही) है—अर्थात् जैसी वनवास से पूर्व थी, या जैसी विवाह के समय थी, उसमें लेशमात्र भी परिवर्तन नहीं आया है। यह श्लोक सीता के चरित्र का प्रमाण पत्र (certificate) है जो एक प्रत्यक्षदर्शी द्वारा दिया जा रहा है।
