Madhurā madhurālāpā kimāha mama bhāminī । Madvihīnā varārohā Hanuman kathayasva me । । 5.66.15 । । ॥5-66-15॥
Translation
What did my beautiful wife, who is sweet by nature and speaks sweetly, say while separated from me? O Hanuman, tell me.

मधुर स्वभाव वाली और मीठा बोलने वाली मेरी वह सुन्दरी (भामिनी) सीता मुझसे बिछड़कर क्या बोली? हे हनुमान! मुझसे कहो।
English Commentary
Rama insists again on hearing Sita's message, recalling her gentle nature. He describes her as Madhuralapa (sweet-spoken) and Bhamini (beautiful/passionate woman). The repetition of the query emphasizes his anxiety. He wonders how his wife, accustomed to speaking lovingly, expressed herself while "separated from him" (Madvihina). It is a moment of deep longing where he visualizes her character—graceful and sweet—clashing with the harsh reality of her imprisonment. He yearns to hear the tone of her love through Hanuman.

श्रीराम पुनः आग्रह करते हैं कि सीता ने क्या कहा। यहाँ वे सीता जी के लिए 'मधुरा', 'मधुरालापा' (मीठा बोलने वाली), और 'वरारोहा' (सुंदर अंगों वाली) जैसे विशेषणों का प्रयोग करते हैं। राम को याद आ रहा है कि सीता कभी भी कटु वचन नहीं बोलती थीं। वे जानना चाहते हैं कि दुष्ट राक्षसों के बीच रहकर और राम के विरह में भी क्या उनकी वाणी में वही मिठास बची है या दुख ने उन्हें मौन कर दिया है? 'मद्विहीना' (मुझसे रहित) शब्द राम के आत्म-ग्लानि और दुख को प्रकट करता है कि उनकी अनुपस्थिति में सीता को कष्ट झेलना पड़ रहा है।
