सा ऽभिवीक्ष्य दिशः सर्वा वेण्युद्ग्रथनमुत्तमम् ।
मुक्त्वा वस्त्राद्ददौ मह्यं मणिमेतं महाबल ।

Sā 'bhivīkṣya diśaḥ sarvā veṇyudgrathanamuttamam । Muktvā vastrāddadau mahyaṃ maṇimetaṃ mahābala । । 5.67.31।। ॥5-67-31॥
Translation
"Then, glancing in all directions, she untied from her garment the excellent jewel (Chudamani) used for tying her hair, and gave it to me, O mighty one."

"तब उन देवी ने सब दिशाओं में (छिपकर) देखा और अपने वस्त्र में बंधे हुए, वेणी में गूंथे जाने वाले उत्तम 'चूडामणि' को खोलकर मुझे दे दिया। (हे महाबली राम! यह वही मणि है)।"
English Commentary
Sita acts with caution, checking all directions (Abhivikshya dishah sarva) to ensure no guards are watching. She retrieves the Chudamani (crest jewel), which she had untied from her hair (a sign of mourning/separation) and knotted into her garment for safekeeping. This gesture is intimate and significant. She hands over her most precious ornament to Hanuman. The verse implies the narration has shifted back to the present, as Hanuman presents the jewel to Rama ("gave it to me, O mighty one").

सीता जी ने सावधानी बरती। 'अभिवीक्ष्य दिशः सर्वा' (सब दिशाओं में देखकर)—ताकि कोई राक्षसी उन्हें हनुमान को कुछ देते हुए न देख ले। उन्होंने अपनी साड़ी के कोने में छिपाकर रखा हुआ 'चूडामणि' निकाला। यह मणि मूल रूप से बालों (वेणी) में पहना जाता था, लेकिन वियोग अवस्था में उन्होंने इसे खोलकर वस्त्र में बांध रखा था। यह वही मणि है जो अब हनुमान राम के हाथों में सौंप रहे हैं।
