प्रतिगृह्य मणिं दिव्यं तव हेतो रघूद्वह ।
शिरसा तां प्रणम्यार्यामहमागमने त्वरे ।

Pratigṛhya maṇiṃ divyaṃ tava heto Raghūdvaha । Śirasā tāṃ praṇamyāryāmahamāgamane tvare । । 5.67.32।। ॥5-67-32॥
Translation
"O Upholder of the Raghus! Accepting that divine jewel for your sake, I bowed my head to that noble lady and hastened to return."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"हे रघुकुल को वहन करने वाले राम! आपके लिए उस दिव्य मणि को लेकर, मैंने उन आर्या (सीता) को सिर झुकाकर प्रणाम किया और लौटने की शीघ्रता की।"
English Commentary
Hanuman explains his immediate reaction. He accepted the jewel solely for Rama's sake (Tava heto). He offered his deep respects by bowing his head (Shirasa pranamya) to Sita. The phrase Agamane tvare (hurried to return) shows his priorities; having achieved the mission's objective, he wasted no time lingering, driven by the urgency to relieve Rama's suffering with the news and the token.

हनुमान जी राम को बताते हैं कि उन्होंने वह मणि 'तव हेतो' (केवल आपके लिए/आपके निमित्त) स्वीकार की। मणि लेते ही हनुमान का कार्य पूरा हो गया था। उन्होंने सीता को साष्टांग प्रणाम किया और वहाँ से तुरंत निकलने की तैयारी की ('आगमने त्वरे'), क्योंकि वे जल्द से जल्द यह खुशखबरी और निशानी राम तक पहुँचाना चाहते थे। यहाँ हनुमान की कर्तव्यनिष्ठा और सीता के प्रति सम्मान का अद्भुत संगम है।
