गमने च कृतottsाहमवेक्ष्य वरवर्णिनी ।
विवर्धमानं च हि मामुवाच जनकात्मजा ।

Gamane ca kṛtotsāhamavekṣya varavarṇinī । Vivardhamānaṃ ca hi māmuvāca Janakātmajā । । 5.67.33।। ॥5-67-33॥
Translation
"Seeing me eager to depart and increasing in size (to leap), the beautiful daughter of Janaka spoke to me."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"मुझे जाने के लिए उत्सुक और (उड़ान भरने हेतु) आकार में बढ़ता हुआ देखकर, जनकनन्दिनी सुंदरी सीता ने मुझसे (पुनः) कहा।"
English Commentary
As Hanuman prepares for the return leap, he begins to expand his physical form (Vivardhamanam). Sita, referred to here as Janakatmaja (Daughter of Janaka) and Varavarnini (Beautiful/Fair-complexioned), notices his eagerness to leave (Kritotsaham). This visual transformation signals the end of their meeting, prompting Sita to offer final parting words before he takes off. It captures the tension of separation after a brief reunion.

लौटने के लिए हनुमान को पुनः अपना विशाल रूप धारण करना पड़ा ताकि वे समुद्र लांघ सकें। 'विवर्धमानं' (बढ़ते हुए शरीर वाले) हनुमान को देखकर सीता समझ गईं कि वे अब जा रहे हैं। विदाई का क्षण भावुक होता है। सीता ('वरवर्णिनी' - सुंदर वर्ण वाली) ने हनुमान को जाते देख अंतिम संदेश देने के लिए रोका। यह श्लोक संवाद के अगले चरण की भूमिका है जहाँ सीता अंतिम निर्देश देंगी।
