हनुमन् सिंहसङ्काशावुभौ तौ रामलक्ष्मणौ ।
सुग्रीवं च सहामात्य सर्वान् ब्रूया ह्यनामयम् ।

॥५-६७-३५॥
Hanuman siṃhasaṅkāśāvubhau tau Rāmalakṣmaṇau । Sugrīvaṃ ca sahāmātya sarvān brūyā hyanāmayam । । ॥5-67-35॥
Translation
(Sita said) O Hanuman! Please ask about the well-being of those two lion-like brothers, Rama and Lakshmana, and also convey my inquiries of health to Sugriva along with his ministers and all others.

(सीता जी ने कहा) हे हनुमान! सिंह के समान पराक्रमी उन दोनों भाइयों—श्री राम और लक्ष्मण—से, तथा मंत्रियों सहित सुग्रीव और अन्य सभी से मेरा कुशल-क्षेम (अनामय) कहना।
English Commentary
Even at the peak of her personal distress, Sita Devi does not forget her royal etiquette and compassion. She refers to Rama and Lakshmana as siṃhasaṅkāśau (lion-like), reaffirming her unshakable faith in their valor and their ability to defeat Ravana. She asks Hanuman to inquire about the anāmayam (health/well-being) not just of her husband, but also of King Sugriva and his ministers. This demonstrates her noble character; she acknowledges the allies who are working for her rescue. By including the ministers, she validates the entire administrative structure of Kishkindha, showing that despite her isolation, she remains the thoughtful and gracious Queen of Ayodhya, concerned for all.

अपनी व्यक्तिगत पीड़ा के चरम पर होते हुए भी, माता सीता राजधर्म और शिष्टाचार को नहीं भूलतीं। वह राम और लक्ष्मण को 'सिंहसङ्काशौ' (सिंह के समान) कहती हैं, जो उनके अटूट विश्वास को दर्शाता है कि उनके पति और देवर पराक्रमी हैं और रावण का विनाश करने में सक्षम हैं। यहाँ 'अनामय' शब्द का प्रयोग किया गया है, जिसका अर्थ है रोग रहित या कुशल। सीता जी केवल राम का ही नहीं, बल्कि वानरराज सुग्रीव और उनके मंत्रियों का भी कुशल-क्षेम पूछती हैं। यह उनकी उदारता और 'आर्या' होने का प्रमाण है। वह जानती हैं कि यह युद्ध केवल राम का नहीं, बल्कि पूरी वानर सेना का होगा, इसलिए वह सभी के प्रति कृतज्ञता और स्नेह प्रकट करती हैं।
