पुनः पुनरुपागम्य विरराद भृशं किल ।

Punaḥ punarupāgamya virarāda bhṛśaṃ kila । Tatastvaṃ bodhitastasyāḥ śoṇitena samukṣitaḥ । । 5.67.5 । । ॥5-67-5॥
Translation
"Coming again and again, it clawed her severely. Then, you were awakened, being sprinkled by her blood."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"वह (कौआ) बार-बार आकर (सीता को) बहुत अधिक नोचने लगा। तब उनके (घाव से बहे) खून के बूंदों से भीगकर आप जाग उठे।"
English Commentary
The harassment by the crow escalated. It attacked repeatedly and severely (Bhrisham). The turning point of the story is vivid and shocking: Rama was not woken by Sita's cries, for she remained silent, but by her blood dripping onto him (Shonitena samukshitah). This graphic detail emphasizes the severity of the injury and Sita's immense endurance. It also sets the stage for Rama's righteous fury, as the violation of his beloved occurred literally upon his own resting body.

कौए की धृष्टता बढ़ती गई। 'पुनः पुनरुपागम्य' (बार-बार आकर) और 'भृशं' (अत्यधिक) शब्द बताते हैं कि पीड़ा असहनीय हो रही थी। अंततः सीता जी के शरीर से इतना रक्त बहा कि उसने सोए हुए राम को भिगो दिया, जिससे उनकी नींद खुली। यह एक बहुत ही संवेदनशील क्षण है—राम का जागना किसी शोर से नहीं, बल्कि अपनी पत्नी के रक्त के स्पर्श से हुआ। यह घटना राम के क्रोध का आधार बनी, क्योंकि उनकी उपस्थिति में उनकी पत्नी को इतना कष्ट दिया गया।
