येषां नोपरि नाधस्तान्न तिर्यक् सज्जते गतिः ।
न च कर्मसु सीदन्ति महत्स्वमिततेजसः ।

yeṣāṃ nopari nādhastānna tiryak sajjate gatiḥ |
na ca karmasu sīdanti mahatsvamitatejasaḥ ॥5-68-19॥
Translation
Whose movement is not obstructed upwards, downwards, or sidewards; and those beings of immeasurable splendor do not lose heart (or tire) even in arduous tasks.

जिनकी गति न ऊपर, न नीचे और न ही तिरछी दिशा में कहीं रुकती है; और वे अमित तेजस्वी (वानर) महान कार्यों को करते हुए कभी थकते (विषाद करते) नहीं हैं।
English Commentary
Completing his description of the army, Hanuman asserts the absolute unimpeded nature of the Vanaras. Their 'gati' (movement/course) is not halted in any dimension—vertical, downward, or lateral. This directly addresses the geographical barrier of the ocean; for such beings, physical obstacles are irrelevant. Moreover, he notes their psychological resilience: they do not 'sīdanti' (sink/despair/tire) even when faced with 'mahatsu' (great/arduous) tasks. Calling them 'amitatejasaḥ' (of immeasurable splendor/energy), Hanuman implies their divine origins. He effectively tells Sita that while she sees the ocean as 'duṣpāraṃ' (impassable), this army sees no barriers, ensuring her that the rescue force is more than equal to the challenge.

यह श्लोक वानरों की अबाधित गति और मानसिक दृढ़ता का वर्णन करता है। 'न सज्जते गतिः' का अर्थ है कि उनकी गति कहीं भी अवरुद्ध नहीं होती—चाहे आकाश हो, पाताल हो या पृथ्वी। यह सीता को आश्वस्त करता है कि समुद्र, दीवारें या पहाड़ इन वानरों के लिए बाधा नहीं हैं। 'न च कर्मसु सीदन्ति' (कार्यों में विषाद/शिथिलता को प्राप्त नहीं होते) यह दर्शाता है कि वे अथक हैं। 'अमिततेजसः' (असीम तेज वाले) कहकर हनुमान यह संकेत दे रहे हैं कि ये वानर साधारण नहीं, बल्कि देवताओं के अंश हैं। हनुमान जी सीता को विश्वास दिला रहे हैं कि उनके जैसा केवल एक ही नहीं, बल्कि पूरी सेना ही ऐसे अद्भुत योद्धाओं से भरी है।
