मम पृष्ठगतौ तौ च चन्द्रसूर्याविवोदितौ ।
त्वत्सकाशं महाभागे नृसिंहावागमिष्यतः ।

mama pṛṣṭhagatau tau ca candrasūryāvivoditau |
tvatsakāśaṃ mahābhāge nṛsiṃhāvāgamiṣyataḥ ॥5-68-24॥
Translation
And mounted on my back, those two lions among men (Rama and Lakshmana) will come to your presence like the risen sun and moon, O Illustrious One.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे महाभागे! मेरे पीठ पर चढ़कर वे दोनों पुरुष-सिंह (राम और लक्ष्मण) उदित होते हुए सूर्य और चन्द्रमा की भाँति आपके पास आएंगे।
English Commentary
Hanuman clarifies the logistics of the princes' arrival. While Sita refused to be carried away on his back, Hanuman declares he will bring Rama and Lakshmana to her on his back. This resolves the issue of how human princes will cross the ocean. The simile 'candrasūryāvivoditau' (like the risen sun and moon) suggests dispelling the darkness of Sita's captivity. It evokes majesty, divinity, and the restoration of cosmic order. By calling them 'nṛsiṃhau' (lions among men), he reiterates their martial dominance. This is a personal vow from Hanuman that he will serve as the vehicle for her liberation.
हिंदी टीका
सीता जी ने स्वयं हनुमान की पीठ पर जाने से मना कर दिया था, किन्तु उन्होंने राम के हनुमान की पीठ पर आने का निषेध नहीं किया था। हनुमान जी यहाँ स्पष्ट करते हैं कि वे स्वयं राम और लक्ष्मण का वाहन बनेंगे। 'चन्द्रसूर्याविवोदितौ' (उदित होते हुए सूर्य और चन्द्रमा की तरह) उपमा अत्यंत सुंदर है—राम सूर्य के समान तेजस्वी और लक्ष्मण चन्द्रमा के समान शीतल (या दोनों ही जगत को प्रकाशित करने वाले)। यह अंधकार (दुःख) के नाश और प्रकाश (सुख) के उदय का प्रतीक है। 'नृसिंहौ' (नरश्रेष्ठ) शब्द उनके पराक्रम को दर्शाता है। हनुमान जी यह चित्र खींचते हैं कि वे स्वयं राम को सीता के चरणों में लाएंगे।
