ततो ददर्शोच्छ्रितमेघरूपं मनोहरं काञ्चनचारुरूपम् ।
रक्षोऽधिपस्यात्मबलानुरूपं गृहोत्तमं ह्यप्रतिरूपरूपम् ॥ ॥५-७-५॥
Tato dadarśocchritamegharūpaṃ manoharaṃ kāñcanacārurūpam |
Rakṣo'dhipasyātmabalānurūpaṃ gṛhottamaṃ hyapratirūparūpam ॥5-7-5॥
Translation
Then he saw that best of mansions, resembling a lofty cloud, captivating, and beautiful with gold. It was matchless in form and worthy of the strength of the Lord of Rakshasas.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब उन्होंने उस उत्तम भवन (विमान) को देखा जो ऊँचे मेघ के समान दिखता था, मन को हरने वाला था और सोने के कारण सुंदर रूप वाला था। वह अनुपम (जिसका कोई दूसरा रूप न हो) था और राक्षसराज की शक्ति के अनुरूप था।
English Commentary
The Vimana is described as 'uchhrita-megha-rupam' (like a towering cloud), emphasizing its imposing verticality and aerial nature. The term 'atma-bala-anurupam' is significant—it means the dwelling was worthy of Ravana's own power. Just as Ravana was formidable, so was his vehicle. 'Apratirupa-rupam' (of form without a match) suggests it was unique; there was no other structure like it in existence. It was a singular masterpiece designed to reflect the ego and might of the Rakshasa King.

विमान का वर्णन 'उच्छ्रितमेघरूपं' (ऊँचे बादल जैसा) के रूप में किया गया है, जो उसकी ऊँचाई और आकाश में स्थित होने की क्षमता को बताता है। 'आत्मबलानुरूपं' एक महत्वपूर्ण विशेषण है—घर वही अच्छा लगता है जो स्वामी के व्यक्तित्व से मेल खाता हो। रावण जितना शक्तिशाली और तेजस्वी था, उसका विमान भी उतना ही भव्य था। 'अप्रतिरूपरूपम्' (जिसका कोई प्रतिरूप/model न हो) यह बताता है कि यह 'कस्टम-मेड' था, अद्वितीय था।
