स तस्य मध्ये भवनस्य संस्थितं महद्विमानं मणिवज्रचित्रितम् ।
प्रतप्तजाम्बूनदजालकृत्रिमं ददर्श वीरः पवनात्मजः कपिः ॥ ॥५-८-१॥
Sa tasya madhye bhavanasya saṃsthitaṃ mahadvimānaṃ maṇivajracitritam । Prataptajāmbūnadajālakṛtrimaṃ dadarśa vīraḥ pavanātmajaḥ kapiḥ ॥ ॥5-8-1॥
Translation
The hero, the son of the Wind God (Hanuman), saw that great Vimana situated in the center of that palace complex, decorated with gems and diamonds, and crafted with lattices of refined gold.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस भवन समूह के बीच में स्थित, मणियों और हीरों (वज्र) से चित्रित तथा तपाये हुए सोने (जाम्बूनद) की जालियों से बने उस विशाल विमान को पवनपुत्र वीर हनुमान ने (पुनः ध्यानपूर्वक) देखा।
English Commentary
Sarga 8 opens with Hanuman refocusing on the Pushpaka Vimana. Situated in the 'madhye' (center) of the palace complex, it stood like a jewel in a setting. The gold is described as 'pratapta' (heated/refined), indicating purity. Hanuman is referred to as 'Virah' (Hero), suggesting that he shakes off the momentary sorrow mentioned in the previous verse and heroically resumes his reconnaissance, scrutinizing the central structure with renewed vigor.

सर्ग 8 का प्रारंभ पुनः पुष्पक विमान के अवलोकन से होता है। हनुमान जी ने अपनी उदासी को किनारे कर पुनः खोज आरम्भ की। विमान 'भवनस्य मध्ये' (भवन के बीचों-बीच) स्थित था, जैसे किसी अंगूठी में नगीना जड़ा हो। 'प्रतप्तजाम्बूनद' (पिघलाया हुआ/शुद्ध किया हुआ सोना) इसकी गुणवत्ता को बताता है। हनुमान जी को यहाँ 'वीरः' कहा गया है, जो संकेत देता है कि वे अपने दुख से उबरकर पुनः कर्म में प्रवृत्त हो रहे हैं।
