विशेषमालम्ब्य विशेषसंस्थितं विचित्रकूटं बहुकूटमण्डितम् ।
मनोऽभिरामं शरदिन्दुनिर्मलं विचित्रकूटं शिखरं गिरेर्यथा ॥ ॥५-८-५॥
Viśeṣamālambya viśeṣasaṃsthitaṃ vicitrakūṭaṃ bahukūṭamaṇḍitam । Mano'bhirāmaṃ śaradindunirmalaṃ vicitrakūṭaṃ śikharaṃ gireryathā ॥ ॥5-8-5॥
Translation
Based on special qualities, it stood in a special way. It was adorned with many wonderful peaks/domes. It was mind-pleasing and spotless like the autumn moon, resembling the peak of a mountain with wonderful summits.

वह विमान विशेष गुणों का आश्रय लेकर विशेष रूप से स्थित था। उसमें अनेक विचित्र शिखर (domes/peaks) थे। वह मन को भाने वाला और शरद ऋतु के चंद्रमा जैसा निर्मल (उज्ज्वल) था। वह विचित्र चोटियों वाले पर्वत शिखर जैसा लगता था।

विमान की वास्तुकला (architecture) 'बहुकूटमण्डितम्' है, यानी इसमें अनेक गुंबद या शिखर थे, जो इसे एक उड़ते हुए महल का रूप देते थे। इसकी चमक 'शरदिन्दुनिर्मलं' (शरद पूर्णिमा के चाँद जैसी स्वच्छ) थी, जो संभवतः श्वेत मणियों या चांदी के प्रयोग को दर्शाती है। 'विशेषमालम्ब्य' का अर्थ है कि यह साधारण भौतिक नियमों (जैसे गुरुत्वाकर्षण) से परे विशिष्ट दैवीय नियमों पर आधारित था।
