अहं च रघुवंशश्च लक्ष्मणश्च महाबलः ।
वैदेह्या दर्शनेनाद्य धर्मतः परिरक्षिताः ॥६-१-१२॥
ahaṃ ca raghuvaṃśaśca lakṣmaṇaśca mahābalaḥ । vaidehyā darśanenādya dharmataḥ parirakṣitāḥ ॥6-1-12॥
Translation
By the discovery of Vaidehi (Sita) today, I, the Raghu dynasty, and the mighty Lakshmana have all been righteously saved.

विदेहराज की पुत्री (सीता) के दर्शन (के समाचार) से आज मेरी, रघुवंश की और महाबली लक्ष्मण की धर्मतः रक्षा हो गई है।
English Commentary
The stakes of Hanuman's mission were existential. Shri Rama declares that Hanuman hasn't just found a person; he has saved the entire Raghu lineage ('raghuvaṃśa'). Without news of Sita, Shri Rama and Lakshmana would likely have ended their lives, leading to the end of the dynasty and a failure of their Dharma (duty/cosmic order). The phrase 'dharmataḥ parirakṣitāḥ' suggests that their moral standing and duty as protectors have been preserved. Hanuman acts here as the Savior of the Saviors. This elevates the finding of Sita from a personal reunion to a matter of cosmic order.

हनुमान के कार्य का प्रभाव कितना व्यापक है, यह यहाँ स्पष्ट होता है। श्री राम कहते हैं कि यदि सीता का पता न चलता, तो वे, लक्ष्मण और पूरा रघुवंश नष्ट हो जाता (संभवतः प्राण त्याग कर)। सीता की खोज ने उन्हें 'धर्मतः परिरक्षिताः' (धर्म के अनुसार बचा लिया) है। क्योंकि पत्नी की रक्षा करना पति का धर्म है और शरणागत की रक्षा करना क्षत्रिय का धर्म है। अज्ञानता में यह धर्म संकट में था। हनुमान ने समाचार लाकर रघुवंश की कीर्ति को कलंकित होने से बचा लिया। यहाँ श्री राम अपनी व्यक्तिगत पीड़ा से ऊपर उठकर कुल (वंश) की प्रतिष्ठा की बात कर रहे हैं।
