इत्युक्त्वा प्रीतिहृष्टाङ्गो रामस्तं परिषस्वजे ।
हनूमन्तं महात्मानं कृतकार्यमुपागतम् ॥६-१-१५॥
ityuktvā prītihṛṣṭāṅgo rāmastaṃ pariṣasvaje । hanūmantaṃ mahātmānaṃ kṛtakāryamupāgatam ॥6-1-15॥
Translation
Saying this, Shri Rama, his limbs thrilling with affection, embraced the high-souled Hanuman who had returned after accomplishing his task.
हिंदी अनुवाद
ऐसा कहकर, प्रेम से पुलकित अंगों वाले (रोमांचित) श्री राम ने, अपना कार्य पूर्ण करके लौटे हुए उस महात्मा हनुमान को हृदय से लगा लिया (आलिंगन किया)।
English Commentary
The narration describes the physical act following the verbal promise. Shri Rama is described as having 'prītihṛṣṭāṅgo'—his body covered in horripilation (goosebumps) due to intense love. This indicates the depth of Shri Rama's emotion; he was physically moved by Hanuman's return. By embracing Hanuman, who is 'kṛtakāryam' (successful in mission), Shri Rama publicly acknowledges him as the hero of the hour. Devotionally, this embrace is the ultimate validation of service. It signifies the removal of all distance between the seeker and the sought.

श्री राम के वचनों का क्रियान्वयन यहाँ होता है। 'प्रीतिहृष्टाङ्गो' शब्द दर्शाता है कि श्री राम का शरीर प्रेम और आनंद से रोमांचित हो उठा। यह केवल एक औपचारिक आलिंगन नहीं था, बल्कि सात्विक भावों से परिपूर्ण मिलन था। 'कृतकार्यम्' (जिसने कार्य सिद्ध कर लिया हो) विशेषण हनुमान की सफलता पर श्री राम की मुहर है। भक्त और भगवान का यह मिलन अद्वैत की स्थिति जैसा है। हनुमान जी के लिए यह क्षण उनकी सारी थकान और श्रम का परिहार करने वाला था।
