इत्युक्त्वा शोकसंभ्रान्तो रामः शत्रुनिबर्हणः ।
हनुमन्तं महाबाहुस्ततो ध्यानमुपागमत् ॥६-१-२०॥
ityuktvā śokasaṃbhrānto rāmaḥ śatrunibarhaṇaḥ । hanumantaṃ mahābāhustato dhyānamupāgamat ॥6-1-20॥
Translation
Having spoken thus to Hanuman, Shri Rama, the destroyer of enemies and of mighty arms, being agitated by grief, then fell into deep thought.
हिंदी अनुवाद
शत्रुओं का विनाश करने वाले, महाबाहु श्री राम, हनुमान से ऐसा कहकर, शोक से व्याकुल हो, तत्पश्चात गहरे ध्यान (सोच-विचार) में मग्न हो गए।
English Commentary
The sarga concludes with a somber image of Shri Rama. Despite his titles—'śatrunibarhaṇaḥ' (destroyer of foes) and 'mahābāhu' (mighty-armed)—he is 'śokasaṃbhrānto' (agitated by grief/anxiety). This highlights the dual nature of the Avatar: possessing divine power yet engaging fully with human limitations and emotions. His descent into 'dhyānam' (deep thought/meditation) suggests he is not giving up, but contemplating a solution. It leaves the reader/listener in suspense, pondering the formidable barrier of the ocean alongside the Lord.

इस सर्ग का समापन श्री राम की चिंतामग्न अवस्था के साथ होता है। यद्यपि वे 'शत्रुनिबर्हणः' (शत्रुओं का नाश करने वाले) और 'महाबाहु' (विशाल भुजाओं वाले, जो पराक्रम का प्रतीक है) हैं, फिर भी वे 'शोकसंभ्रान्त' (शोक से घबराए/व्याकुल) हैं। यह विरोधाभास उनके मानवीय अवतार की सुंदरता है। वे शक्तिसंपन्न होकर भी मानवीय सीमाओं का अनुभव करते हैं। 'ध्यानमुपागमत्' का अर्थ है कि वे मौन होकर समस्या का समाधान खोजने लगे। यह शांति (Silence) अगले सर्ग में सुग्रीव के आश्वासन की प्रतीक्षा कर रही है।
