ततः प्रत्युषसि प्राप्ते प्राप्तधर्मार्थनिश्चयः ।
राक्षसाधिपतेर्वेश्म भीमकर्मा विभीषणः ॥६-१०-१॥
tataḥ pratyuṣasi prāpte prāptadharmārthaniścayaḥ । rākṣasādhipaterveśma bhīmakarmā vibhīṣaṇaḥ ॥6-10-1॥
Translation
Then, at daybreak, Vibhishana, who had attained certainty in Dharma and Artha, and who was of formidable deeds (against enemies), went to the palace of the King of Rakshasas.
हिंदी अनुवाद
फिर, प्रातःकाल होने पर, धर्म और अर्थ का निश्चय करने वाले (ज्ञानी) और भयानक कर्म करने वाले (शत्रुओं के लिए) विभीषण, राक्षसाधिपति (रावण) के महल में गए।
English Commentary
The timing is crucial. Vibhishana visits at 'pratyushasi' (dawn), implying a private, sober consultation before the day's court begins. Describing him as 'bhimakarma' (of terrible deeds) establishes his credentials as a warrior, not a pacifist by weakness. He enters with a clear mind regarding duty ('dharma') and profit ('artha').

दसवें सर्ग का प्रारंभ विभीषण की एक और कोशिश से होता है। 'प्रत्युषसि' (भोर में) जाना दर्शाता है कि यह एक निजी और गंभीर भेंट है। विभीषण को 'भीमकर्मा' कहा गया है, जिसका अर्थ है कि वे कायर नहीं हैं, बल्कि योद्धा हैं। वे 'धर्मार्थनिश्चयः' हैं, यानी वे जानते हैं कि सही (धर्म) और लाभकारी (अर्थ) क्या है।
