मत्तमातङ्गनिःश्वासैर्व्याकुलीकृतमारुतम् ।
शङ्खघोषमहाघोषं तूर्यनादानुनादितम् ॥६-१०-४॥
mattamātaṅganiḥśvāsairvyākulīkṛtamārutam । śaṅkhaghoṣamahāghoṣaṃ tūryanādānunāditam ॥6-10-4॥
Translation
The wind there was agitated by the breaths of intoxicated elephants. It resounded with the great sound of conches and the noise of trumpets (Turya).
हिंदी अनुवाद
(वहाँ की) वायु मतवाले हाथियों की साँसों (निःश्वास) से व्याकुल (सुगंधित/गर्म) थी। वहाँ शंखों का महाघोष और तूर्य (वाद्यों) का नाद गूंज रहा था।
English Commentary
Sensory details. The air is thick with the scent and breath of war elephants. The auditory landscape is filled with martial and auspicious sounds ('shankha', 'turya'), reinforcing the martial atmosphere of Lanka.

वातावरण। हाथियों की उपस्थिति राजसी शक्ति का प्रतीक है। शंख और तूर्य का नाद सुबह की मंगल बेला को दर्शाता है। यह एक जीवंत और शक्तिशाली साम्राज्य का चित्र है।
