गन्धर्वाणामिवावासमालयं मरुतामिव ।
रत्नसंचयसंबाधं भवनं भोगिनामिव ॥६-१०-६॥
gandharvāṇāmivāvāsamālayam marutāmiva । ratnasaṃcayasaṃbādhaṃ bhavanaṃ bhogināmiva ॥6-10-6॥
Translation
Like the abode of Gandharvas, like the house of Maruts, and like the palace of Nagas, it was crowded with heaps of gems.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वह गंधर्वों के आवास जैसा, मरुतों (देवताओं) के घर जैसा और नागों (भोगिनाम) के भवन जैसा रत्नों के ढेर से भरा हुआ था।
English Commentary
Celestial comparisons. The palace rivals the abodes of Gandharvas and Maruts. The reference to 'Bhoginam' (Nagass) implies immense subterranean wealth (gems). It emphasizes what is at stake—this paradise is about to be lost.

उपमाओं की झड़ी। रावण का महल देवलोक (गंधर्व/मरुत) और पाताल (नागलोक) दोनों की शोभा को मात देता है। 'रत्नसंचय' (रत्नों का ढेर) उसकी असीमित संपत्ति को दिखाता है।
