तं महाभ्रमिवादित्यस्तेजोविस्तृतरश्मिमान् ।
अग्रजस्यालयं वीरः प्रविवेश महाद्युतिः ॥६-१०-७॥
taṃ mahābhramivādityastejovistṛtaraśmimān । agrajasyālayaṃ vīraḥ praviveśa mahādyutiḥ ॥6-10-7॥
Translation
Just as the sun with its spreading rays of light enters a great cloud, the highly resplendent hero (Vibhishana) entered the abode of his elder brother.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तेज से फैली हुई किरणों वाले सूर्य जैसे बड़े बादल (महाभ्र) में प्रवेश करते हैं, वैसे ही महाद्युतिमान वीर (विभीषण) ने अपने बड़े भाई के भवन में प्रवेश किया।
English Commentary
Symbolic entry. Vibhishana is the Sun ('Aditya'), and Ravana's palace is the Cloud ('Mahabhra'). This metaphor foreshadows Vibhishana as the illuminator of truth amidst the clouded judgment of Lanka.

विभीषण का तेज। कवि विभीषण की तुलना 'सूर्य' से और रावण के भवन की तुलना 'बादल' से करते हैं। यह अंधकार (अधर्म) में प्रकाश (धर्म) के प्रवेश का प्रतीक है। विभीषण 'महाद्युति' (महान चमक वाले) हैं।
