Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
लक्ष्मणेन सह भ्रात्रा विष्णुना वासवं यथा ।
आलिखन्तमिवाकाशमवष्टभ्य महद्धनुः ॥६-१००-१२॥
lakṣmaṇena saha bhrātrā viṣṇunā vāsavaṃ yathā |
ālikhantamivākāśamavaṣṭabhya mahaddhanuḥ ॥6-100-12॥
Translation
He saw Shri Rama with his brother Lakshmana, looking like Vasava (Indra) with Vishnu, leaning on a great bow as if scratching/touching the sky.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जैसे भगवान विष्णु के साथ इंद्र (वासव) होते हैं, वैसे ही भाई लक्ष्मण के साथ (शोभित) श्रीश्री राम को, जो विशाल धनुष को थामकर मानो आकाश को (अपने तेज से) लिख रहे थे (छू रहे थे), उसने देखा।
English Commentary
